I didn't take this video, but it is along the way I normally take to come to work. This was what it was like to be in Carlsbad, CA yesterday.

Wildfires. They happen here from time to time, but usually not until around October, so we were all caught a little off guard.

Yeah I'm glad to not be in SoCal right now. I just hope where my parents live stays not on fire, Luckily they are far enough away from the canyon that likes to catch fire so I think they might be safe, along with the fact that there is a "lake" right by so there is an adequate water source to fight any fire in the area. But holy balls the fires are crazy this early on in the summer. And it will only continue until October.

Where are they? We still have some areas that are burning.

It's normally pretty damn good here, but I wouldn't mind some of your rain right about now.

I think they are okay. The Tomahawk fire is mostly on Camp Pendleton, so nothing much there to worry about. Yesterday I could see the smoke from that one from my office, and today it seems to be cleared up. I wouldn't worry too much.
